I made a conscious decision today to give this another shot, it's one thing to go about life and conduct your small home business and a whole other to manage your blog! Being that it is MLK's birthday and we are in the month of commemorating his achievements, I too have a dream: I am awake, dreaming a dream that will become my reality in a dream-like state. Step by step I will walk this path until this dream of mine is realized. Those of you who are close to me know what I am talking about already and have probably heard me ramble for the past few months of what direction I want, this business of mine, to go in. For those of you that don't know, I have considered several options and have come to the conclusion that I, most definitely, do want my own store-front, so as of this past week, I am in the market for my own space! It has not been an easy task to run through ads trying to find a good deal in the right neighborhood and with the right amount of space-but, and there is always one of those- I have decided, whether or not I find one today or tomorrow I am not giving up. I have seen the frightened look in Robert's eyes when I tell him what MY VISION is, and Yes, I have a vision!!! I know he is there to support in the best way he possibly can, but it can't be easy for him. Heck it's not easy for me, I am oh so very frightened. Thoughts of failure, debt, sleepless nights, misprints in ads, there is so much, but the biggest fear of all is not having the chance to realize this dream. I want it. I NEED IT. I really, really, really want it... And yes I have heard those voices say that this will never happen, that I'm dreaming, that this idea is way too much for me and I'm in over my head-yet, that does nothing to appease my desire for this venture, on the contrary, it makes me want it even more.
