Clean[er], Healthier Chicken Salad

So I'm on the 21 Fix and have been trying out new recipes.  Here is one I put together last night.

I measured these out in  my handy, color-coded containers and  this is their approximate once mixed

Total amounts:
1 Red - Cottage Cheese
2 Red - Skinless Chicken breast
1/2 Green-2-3 Celery Leaf Stalks
1 Blue- Almonds
1 Yellow - Sweet Yellow Corn

The prep is simple.  Dice up chicken, celery, almonds and corn  put in mixing bowl and the 1 Red of Cottage Cheese to the bowl.  Let sit about 20 minutes in the Refrigerator and serve with whole wheat bread or crackers. Once combined, this recipe will make 4-5 portions in your red container.  **CAUTION:  if you are SEVERELY limited on your blue/yellow containers make sure you prep this as a next day meal or an early day meal just in case**

Tooth Fairy Project: No more than 20 minutes!!

This is a really quick and simple way to prepare for the tooth fairy!

I don't know if I honestly thought I had more time to prepare or I was simply in deknial about my darling Ari growing up.  If I'm honest with you and myself, I think I will be in denial my entire life...

So anyway, here is what you need:

1 Mason Jar with lid
Glitter or body shimmer
Sparkly twist ties (qty. depends on how many bucks are going in the jar)
Dollar bills (qty. same as above)
cardstock
printer

Step 1: roll up your dollars and tie with the sparkly twist ties
Step 2: put them in the mason jar
Step 3: pour some glitter or body shimmer into the jar
Step 4: Close the lid and shake (now everything is shimmery!!)
Step 5: Print out a heartfelt card to put in the Jar, sign: The Tooth Fairy

and Voila' practically makes itself!

This is easy, your kiddo will love it and it's so much fun seeing their eyes light up!!!
